At the peace conference a declared aim is to organize the friendship of the world and to overcome all obstacles. The old scheme of balance of power is found wanting as small nations must be allowed to determine their own future and no more territory grabbing is permitted.
The 26th New England division known as Yan kee has been ordered home with no definite start date yet. Within weeks the gallant New England heroes will be at sea, as transport facilities determine overseas embarkation. A high authority confirms the orders to prepare for home, promising joy to many New England families with relatives in the ranks.
