Miss Foster In Cell Unable To Get Bail

Miss Foster remained in a city prison cell after exhausting bondsmen options and failing to secure bail. Inspectors McGarr and Harris secured a second warrant and searched her Mountford Street home as they pursue linked charges involving Miss Mason and a Brockton gentleman, John C. Fredericks.

Boston Woman Arrested on False Pretences In Two Charges

Miss Foster, a Boston social figure, is arrested on two charges of fraud. She allegedly obtained 1600 dollars and later 1250 dollars of Miss Ida M. Mason’s property. Bail totals 2000 dollars after an initial 1919 homecoming plan. Detectives served the warrant as she arrived with a companion.

Anti-Imperialism Debate At Boston Merchants Banquet
