Death of Ebenezer B. E. Hayes Pioneer Hotel Man

Ebenezer B. E. Hayes of Old Orchard Maine died tonight at age 87. He leaves three sons and two daughters. Born and lifelong resident of Old Orchard, he is remembered as a pioneer hotel man. The 3 o'clock express on the Shore line, now running Sundays and weekdays, is a favorite with travelers, featuring vestibuled parlor cars, coaches, and a dining car between Boston and New London.
