The marriage of Orme Caldara to Miss Julia Dean, a Chicago romance, linked Caldara's move from the Chicago Opera House to a principal role in The Love Route. He later starred with Lulu Glaser in The Aero Club, with future Klaw Ersenger engagements likely to keep them together. The Reading first five were defeated 13 to 11 by an unnamed opponent. Newton second beat Reading second 37 to 22.
