Christie girl dies by own action in closet note found
Miss Christie aged 27 died in a Brooke House room from chloroform poisoning after placing a note beside three bottles labeled chloroform. Friends and Regatives deem it death by own action. Dr. Cushing and Assistant Medical Examiner Richardson ruled the death self-inflicted. Christie, a missionary family relative and St George's School instructor's sister, had long believed she suffered a fatal disease.
