The 19 year old Florence Bennett daughter of a Standard Oil night watchman and Gordon Brooks Underwood son of Walter Underwood of Manchester NH both Tufts Medical School students ran away to Providence yesterday. They obtained a marriage license at City Hall and were married by Rev Edward R Sweetland after a secret rendezvous at South Terminal station. Families expressed delight and surprise upon learning of the wedding from a Post reporter.
