Man in Amesbury Attempts Suicide on Southampton Road

George Beek, 46, of 6 Arlington Street Amesbury, allegedly cut his throat with a razor while walking along Southampton road. He inflicted a deep five inch gash severing the windpipe and narrowly missing the jugular vein, police report.
