Roxbury youths arraigned in hypnotic break and enter case

Three Roxbury lads aged 17 to 20 were arraigned before Judge Bolster on breaking and entering charges. Edward Sliney was sentenced to the Lyman School Westboro, while James McDonald and James Lyons received similar terms to the Concord Reformatory.

An elderly man, hair white, commits suicide by leaping from Warren drawbridge in Charlestown. The bridge tender and W F Murray Jr. saw him step onto the rail and dive into the tide crying this is the end. Murray attempted a rescue but found no trace of the man.

Eight Prizes To One Dog At New York Show

An immense Madison Square Garden crowd saw Hands On the Wire-haired fox terrier win eight prizes. The 17 month old dog claimed novice and limit class wins, beat top rivals in open class, captured three specials, and won the $800 grand challenge cup. Owned by R. F. Mayben of New York, the dog highlighted a day of multiple wins by other handlers and dogs across breed classes.
