Burglars Strike Winchester Cambridge Firms

Thieves entered residences on Mt Pleasant street and Highland avenue in Winchester and robbed Mr. J. Mason and Mr. George Littlefield of money and valuables. In Medford Horace Hall’s High street home was broken into, jewelry and silverware taken. Fire alarms report scattered Boston incidents

An alarm from box 76 at 11 55 A M Friday signaled a fire in an ash barrel caused by hot coals in the cellar of Mary E Sibley at 135 West Newton Street. A second blaze at 58 PM Friday resulted from a kerosene lamp explosion in the tenement of John K Campbell at 117 Havre Street East Boston with no damage. Members of Chemical No 1 were called to the cellar at 13 Beacon Street at 9 20 PM Friday for a fire in a pile of rubbish.
