Insurance 60 New York Statement to Policyholders

Missouri Kansas and Texas Railway Company Reorganization

The time to deposit bonds and stock and accept rights has been extended to Saturday. A penalty of 2 percent on bonds and 1 percent on stock will be imposed if the acceptance is not completed by the new date. City of New York Sinks Canal Boat in Fog. Captain to be Arrested

New York City steamer City of New York sank a canal boat after a fog near the Battery. Canal boat captain Patrick Daly of Perth Amboy, N J, drowned. his wife was not aboard. The city captain faces arrest on return.

Sawtell mystery ends with Sawtell murder found

The Rockland report details four drowning deaths at Green's Landing Deer Island in Maine. Ezra Kenney and wife of Moose Island perished in a dory near 7 p.m. They attempted to anchor, Kenney found dead, wife clinging to a cliff with injuries. Two Green's Landing youths also drowned in last week’s storm. In Rochester East Lebanon Maine, investigators recovered Hiram Sawtell murdered and dismembered, with head missing. Isaac Sawtell arraigned on murder charge, inquest planned.

Mad horse at Ipswich runs loose and drowns after pond collision

Teswich February 14 Albert Brown's horse, unseen for days in the stable, went mad on Wednesday. It collided with two cows in a savage rush toward town and leapt into a pond where it drowned. No rabid-dog bites are confirmed despite several rabid dogs in town recently.
