City elevated railroad collapse kills three in Broonury
A section of the Union Elevated railroad under construction on Broadway near Sumner avenue fell this morning. Three men died and two were fatally injured. a Reid avenue line horse car was demolished and four horses killed. Foreman’s assistant John Schafer was arrested. Dozens injured and workers buried amid wreckage as rescuers cleared the debris.
