Ocean Telegraph Company Incorporation Bill Advances

In the State Senate yesterday a substitute bill to incorporate the Ocean Telegraph Company was substituted for the Mercantile Affairs Committee report on the petition of George M. Dexter and others and will be read a second time today. Mr Coolidge advocated the substitute. In the House a bill to incorporate the East Boston Young Men's Christian Association was introduced, the Towns Committee reported an act to establish the city of Haverhill, and the Bridgewater and Taunton railroad location and construction extension bill was passed to be engrossed.
