Fletcher G. Plummer head of the Metal Supplies Company sues his mother-in-law Mena Zimmerman and brother-in-law Fred Zimmerman in Superior Court alleging they alienated his wife Christine E. Plummer. He seeks 20000 dollars in one suit and 10000 dollars in another.
British steamer Turino of 2702 tons net was sunk off the Irish coast. Her crew were landed. The ship last reported at Norfolk and sailed January 19 for Liverpool.
George Washington, an American Negro fireman aboard the Torino, was killed. Calvin Bay, another survivor from Fillmore Utah, is identified as an American. Washington was among three firemen who perished. His wife is reportedly in Liverpool, and the U S embassy is attempting to locate her.
