James Tierney of 16 Gold Street South Boston was crushed by an earth cave-in while at Tremont Street subway near Park Street. He was rescued and taken to City Hospital with chest injuries and internal damage. condition reported serious.
John Michael Coghlan a four year old orphan from South Boston was injured yesterday morning when his foot was crushed between the wall and an elevator at 11 Eliot street. Dr H C Williams attending, he was dressed and sent to City Hospital for treatment.
