Pennypacker Drawn Into Capitol Contract Conspiracy Case
In Harrisburg on February 7, Stanford B. Lewis testified that Huston's letter to ex-Attorney General Carson, which aligned with contract narratives, was drafted under pressure from ex-Governor Pennypacker and ex-Auditor Snyder to appear as a whitewash. Lewis claimed he was summoned by Pennypacker and Snyder to Harrisburg for a conference to align multiple capitol project statements. He also conceded that Huston's furniture weighing statements were largely false, aimed at a coordinated misrepresentation.
