New York Feb 7 Mrs Wallace died at her home in New Rochelle The Herald will report that Mrs Hunt formerly known as Maria B Halpin of Buffalo N Y Miss Maria B Halpin's name figured prominently in Cleveland's first campaign as the central figure in a scandal touching Mr Cleveland's private life
In Chicago on February 7 surgeons completed a long grafting procedure on 56 year old Marion Weaver. A total of 219 square inches of skin was transplanted over five months with fortnightly operations due to the patient’s frail condition. The grafted skin covers burns on the chest abdomen back and sides.
Two English imported Percheron stallions fought aboard a fast Union Pacific stock train in Cheyenne Wyoming. One horse died after a brutal duel, a car was wrecked, owner Edgar Boise lost 1500 dollars, and two keepers narrowly escaped being crushed. Officials separated the animals on a sidetrack but one severed the jugular of the other.
