Massachusetts Legislature Advances Several Bills in Senate and House

In the Senate a bill on single drunkenness was presented and a separate measure to aid families of volunteers was amended debated laid on the table and ordered printed. In the House a bill to incorporate the Protective War Claim Association was reported to help army and navy members obtain government bounties and pensions. The Massachusetts School of Agriculture bill was recommitted. The education committee was asked to review funding for books maps and apparatus. Various matters moved forward one stage.
