An unknown thief posing as an electric meter inspector broke into 171 River Road, Winthrop, assaulted Mrs. Frank Riley, tied her to a bed, and stole over 200 dollars in cash from William A. Grimes's house. Riley fought for more than two hours before escaping to summon help.
