Boston Young Men’s Christian Association prayer meetings at Tremont Row list weekly speakers. A fund of $1500 was given to Rev. J. Frances de Sales’ assistant pastor J. Egan presented by parishioners. Thomas Diman of East Cambridge lost a leg after a Prospect Street streetcar incident and was hospitalized. Ellen Mason reports missing money and jewelry. two youths, William Leighton and Theodore Razeaux, aged 17, were arrested with $31 in marked bills and two diamond rings recovered.

Editor Andrew Small of Biddeford Daily Times dies at 47

Andrew Jackson Small editor and proprietor of the Biddeford Daily Times died at his Saco residence on Saturday aged 47 years 2 months and 12 days. He rose from a type setter to editor and owner, endured paralysis in recent years, and left a widowed mother and two sisters. He had never married and began printing in 1857 with the Maine Democrat in Saco.
