Fireman resigns command and dedication of new engine house
Captain Daniel Weston resigns his command of Engine Company No. 2 South Boston effective January first. The company presented him a thirty two cone Grattacap parade cap. A new engine house on Chelsea street East Boston built for Webster Engine Company No. 13 under Captain Tilton was formally dedicated on Thursday evening.
