Lillian and Dorothy Gish arrived for the premiere of D. W. Griffith's Orphans of the Storm. Lillian wore an extravagant three year old outfit with a fur coat and veil, drawing attention to their film event in town yesterday.
Medical Examiner Stewart reported on the death of Grace S Logue a 22 year old nurse in the office of Dr Michael H Stevens of Woburn. Stevens had been detained by police and was released on his own recognizance as details emerged.
In Pittsfield on December 26 litigation over a dog draws attention. Charles Cheyne sues Police Inspector Daniel J Colgan in district court for 46 dollars claimed for caring for the inspector’s hound with a hearing set for Friday. The dog reportedly returned to its owner earlier. Cheynes attorney Patrick J Moore notes the dog appears to prefer Cheyne, citing a noisy return to Cheyne’s Greenway Street home. Expenses listed include 2 dollars taxes on the dog in 1921 2 dollars medical care in 1901 and 42 dollars for 28 weeks of care at 150 per week.
Mrs Annie McCarthy, 80, of 8 Mystic Street, was found exhausted in the street and taken to City Hospital. Her garments contained hidden money totaling 250 dollars in bills and 60 in gold coins. Station 5 officers delivered her to care and notified her sister in law Jennie Hillard of 42 East Canton Street.

Consolo fled and was arrested at Haymarket Relief Hospital for murder. Matanza says Consolo fired first. The 12 year old son of Matanza witnessed the incident.
Kindling wood once 13 cents a bag now costs 11 cents as excess supply and competition lower prices. Coal by the bag remains high at 25 cents for 25 pounds or 20 dollars per ton, with many poor buyers forced to purchase by the bag, while nut or stove coal runs at 16 dollars per ton.
