Wilmot L. Warren longtime Springfield Republican editorial writer died last evening in Attleboro at his father in law 8 M Vose of Providence after three months of failing health. Born July 1347 in Bethel Wis he spent his life in journalism and public discourse. He married Josephine Hopkins in 1870 then Mary Lee Vose in 1886 and leaves two children Ruth and Varl. He served as a Tufts trustee and spoke publicly including at Tufts College.

Ex Lieutenant Governor L H Cooke of Riverton Connecticut and Hon John R Back of Hartford were appointed receivers of Continental Life Insurance Company by Judge Carpent er. James Miller a aged real estate dealer was found dead in his house at 357 West Sixteenth Street New York City yesterday morning. His wife lay beside him dying. It is supposed that Mr Miller died of heart disease. Willim Webber 75 was found dead on the floor last evening at his home in Thornton New York. He had been dead about ten days and was a hermit for fifteen years. He formerly kept a store in Roxbury Massachusetts and served on the Boston police force.
