A Quincy High School pupil in the afternoon session was confronted by a man from shrubbery who grabbed her throat and tried to pull her into a nearby area. She struck the man with her books, broke his glasses, and yelled for help, forcing him to release and flee down Sea Street. Police were notified and began an investigation.
