Fire destroys woodwork at New Hampshire reform school

In Maxchester New Hampshire a fire swept the main woodwork of the House of Reformation killing none of the 120 inmates who were rescued. The blaze began at five o clock in the tank room fueled by a high wind. The brick fronts stayed intact though woodwork burned. The loss is around 40 000 dollars with about 20 000 insured. Some boys fled eight to ten ran away while the rest moved to Stark House. Superintendent Shattuck suspects arson.
