Post Santa Fund appeal seeks gifts for needy New England children

Six days remain for the Boston Post Santa drive as volunteers urge readers to donate to the Post Santa Fund to stock stockings for deserving children. Widespread support from postal workers, local businesses, and readers, including a $56.10 South postal station gift, is recorded, with headquarters at 265 Washington Street and the workshop at 163 Washington Street. Contributions fund toys, sweaters, stockings, and candy, while operating costs are covered by the paper, aiming to ensure no child wakes to empty stockings on Christmas morning.
