Captain B. S. Osbon, secretary of the Arctic Club, claims Captain August W. Loose falsified his dealings with Dr. Cook for sensational gain. Osbon cites Loose saying he pursued money regardless of truth in front of witnesses.
Captain Osbon disputes Loose narrative and affidavits as part of any plot to discredit Dr. Cook. He accuses Dunkle of promotion and Loose as worker, notes an explosive controversy for cash, and cites a forthcoming confession by Loose with 24 hours grace.
Ward and Brown each receive four votes for National League president. Heydler not listed. Doves manager Lake seeks new talent. Boston demands a Sno-decision system for clean boxing. Kling may move to Chicago if reinstated. Also notes basketball and bowling results and times.
Brussels reports King Leopold IIs death at 2 35 AM. Albert, son of the Count of Flanders, is identified as the new monarch born in 1875 and married in 1900 to Princess Elizabeth of Bavaria. They have three children Leopold Charles and Marie Jose. The death ends a period of hopeful bulletins before a sudden collapse.

Jose Santos Zelaya resigns the presidency of Nicaragua and places the document with Congress this morning. Reports say the uprising had forced his hand as revolutionaries pressed on and U S warships rested in Nicaraguan ports.
Managua roils as Zelaya surrenders with guards. crowds demand an end to the old regime. Congress is urged to act quickly on his resignation. Dr. Jose Madriz, allied with Zelaya, sails toward Managua and will arrive on Saturday to assume leadership.
The Boston and Worcester Trolley Air Line runs cars from Park Square every 15 minutes during the holidays. Low fares promise quick service for festive travel.
In the East Cambridge courthouse an aged woman faintly identifies a sobbing man who claims to be Daniel Blake Russell as tensions rise with Mrs. Ferdinand Almy insisting the recognition did not occur. The man leaves the room in tears as Miss Hannah Lynde remains unable to confirm the relation.
In the corridor the court officer staggered and appeared close to fainting as proceedings continued on page 6 fourth column.
New York dispatch reports Mrs Grace Strecher Chandler formerly of Boston and Manchester married last Sunday to Harlan Woodbury Whipple of North Andover after her divorce. Mrs Chandler had lived in an apartment on Seventy second Street and Amsterdam Avenue since August 10, following the divorce.
