Fort Lee, N J December 16 An acetylene gas tank exploded destroying the home of John Puglughi killing his five children instantly and seriously injuring his wife whose right arm was torn away The blast blew the roof and walls inward setting debris afire The mother was found 200 feet away and the father arrived to find his house in ruins and all the children dead or burned.
