Lynching Threat Looms After Attack in Bowtine Green Ky
A negro named Walter Henderson attacked Miss Kate Anderson at her home in Bowtine Green on December 14. Mrs Anderson and her 17 year old daughter were present. Henderson fled after injuring Mrs Anderson with a stick and threatening Kate with a knife. About 200 residents on horseback and foot searched the area, and authorities warned of a possible fatal outcome if Henderson is captured.

Tripp Forgery Trial Ends in Acquittal
