New York Yacht Club Adopts New Measurement By Law

The New York Yacht Club held a special meeting and amended Chapter 17 to redefine time allowance by a formula involving sails area and water line length. A rules of measurement system was adopted and a committee was named to harmonize methods with other clubs. The schooner Marguerite won her class for the squadron trophy cup in the August cruise.
