Adolphus Osborne a wealthy retired merchant aged 90 will wed Miss Joann Wadleigh a 40 year old bride in a Cambridge ceremony that was celebrated on June 27 last and became known yesterday.
The couple wed last June in North Berwick Maine officiated by Rev. Turner. Mrs. Osborne returned to Brockton to work as a bookkeeper and live with her mother while the groom, head of A. Osborne & Co. in Boston, resided at the 24 room Pay Mansion in Cambridge and pursued floral interests.
Joseph Carr aged 12 of 4 Essex Street died at Brockton Hospital after being struck by a car on Calmar Street. Louis Diamond, chauffeur for George E. Keith Shoe Company of 231 Spruce Street, was not detained. The boy reportedly jumped from a wagon into the vehicle’s path. his parents asked that the driver be allowed to go free.

William Huzzy of 10 Compton Street South End lies dying at City Hospital after a Friday quarrel on Shawmut avenue with Edward H Quirk of 37 Cherry Street who assaulted him. Police found Quirk last evening and took him to the City Hospital where he was identified by Huzzy.
Washington December 11 The House rules committee is expected to recommend a congressional inquiry into claims that the New York New Haven and Hartford Railroad dominates New England transportation. The inquiry would focus on alleged negotiations with the Grand Trunk that could constitute restraint of trade. The rules committee will decide whether a special or standing committee should conduct the investigation.

The Back Bay police answered a late night call to rout a cat from the yard of F I Putman at 125 Beacon street. Mr Putman and his wife reported a feline singing solos that disturbed them. Lieutenant Watkins dispatched Patrolmen Delaney and Connors to the scene.
Before the ward reached the scene the officers agreed to bring the caterwauler to the station house if caught. A few stray notes were heard as Delaney and Connors neared the yard. They paused and listened for meows and then tried to corner the disturber, but the cat vanished and the team returned to Back Bay station to report to the lieutenant.

She said they were en route to Athol when he jumped onto a moving train and left her stranded on the platform. She believes he may be somewhere on the Pacific coast.
George W. Bacon aged 18 of Roxbury attempted suicide by hanging in Franklin Park last night. He was cut down by three young men and taken to Dr. Max Sturnick’s office where he was revived. He was moved to the Psychopathic Hospital on Fenwood Road for examination. Despondency is believed to have influenced the act.
