Further particulars of the triple murder case in New York

Details reveal a calm killer, Paul Loewe, who shot Maud Merrill then surrendered. Maud, real name Martha Smith aged about 20, died after a struggle in a brown stone brothel. Robert C. Bleakley admitted shooting in a frenzy during a failed attempt to persuade his niece to reform. A separate mystery concerns Prof. G Frederick Knorr who vanished after leaving for business. Water famine hits Jersey City and Hoboken as pipes ice up. In Dr Irish's murder trial, arsenic traces were found in the victim's stomach and intestines, confirming lethal poisoning prior to death.
