Washington May Be Sold
Chicago December 7 President Ban Johnson opened the American league meeting and sessions continued behind closed doors. Washington, carried by the league last season, proved financially loss making, and a sale is likely if possible. New rules were approved and will go to the joint committee for adoption. The key change defines a pitched ball between hip and shoulder as a strike while a ball between knee and shoulder is already a strike.
