Bay State Gas receivership case stalled by Higgins motion
In Philadelphia a motion by ex-Senator Higgins of Delaware to intervene in the Bay State Gas Company receivership case delays a potential dismissal. Higgins represents Thomas C. Baxter of Boston, holder of a $1000 bond, while others push for amicable dismissal amid bondholder concerns. The judge set further arguments for Friday morning as the case proceeds. Also mentioned are the bond totals and involvement of Godfrey Morse and others, with hearings moved from Wilmington to Philadelphia.
