Irregular New York Boston market with Studebaker lift
Trading in yesterday's market was mainly professional with mixed results and a bearish tilt early. Studebaker rose 13/8 to 155 5/8 on dividend expectations while Great Northern preferred fell over 4 1/4. Kennecott Copper rose to 347 8, and US Steel and other industrials showed slight gains amid overall drift.

Atlantic Coast Line Railway reports October gross of 6 118 965 up 10 percent from a year ago with net after rents of 1 258 875 versus 743 239 last year. The firm projects a year net near 12 574 00 and earnings per share around 13 40 with continued outside income. Island Creek Coal Co plans 1922 output near 3 145 000 tons and about 25 a share earnings after preferred dividends on 113 600 shares. November output 175 400 tons and full year about 105 000 tons below 1921 but above rivals.
