Toledo Ohio December 3 Mrs N B Bacon sister of President elect Cleveland disclaims any knowledge of a New York journal interview said to forecast White House policy and her brother’s family relations. She calls the statements absurd and false and says she has no public remarks about Mr Cleveland beyond respect for him and a wish to let him chart his own course without interference.

In Perham Minnesota the Northern Pacific brewery burned with $50,000 loss. In New York a fire at Fischer's piano factory last night led to high stock losses and substantial structure damage with large insurance.
A meeting at Somerset street rooms heard Rev Swafter report donations of rare works and obituary notices for deceased members. Obituaries listed Ellis Ames born Stoughton Oct 17 1809 died Canton Oct 20 1884 aged 75 and Rev T W David born Swansea Wales Sept 1816 died in Canton.
Ward caucuses were held Wednesday evening under the republican banner to nominate common council candidates and elect ward and city committees. Results list ward officers, candidates, and committee members, with expulsions of mugwumps in several wards and a noted offer from the people's party in Ward 14 to endorse republican nominees if allowed a ticket spot.

Gov. Cleveland will depart Albany at 9 tomorrow on a special train to attend the actors benefit fund performance at the Academy of Music in New York. Mr. Vanderbilt provides his private car for the trip. Gen. Marvin, Private Secretary Lamont and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Erastus Corning and a few others will accompany him.
