Horace Greeley Passes Quietly After Final Dying Hours

Horace Greeley neared death after days of unconsciousness. at 11, his pulse ceased and within hours the end came. Witnesses report brief lucidity, a final confession of faith, and a last utterance “It is done, I know that my Redeemer liveth” as the departed sage crossed into the afterlife.

French Assembly Vote Sparks Turmoil as Parties Clash

Insurgent Losses Reported Across Provinces

In Murcia thirty three insurgents were killed and in Malaga twenty three were left dead on the field. Bejar rises have led to forty arrests. The Gaceta notes heavy losses for insurgents at Malaga, a Republican band of 100 failing to surprise Anviradiel, Carlists defeated in Toledo with seven killed and twenty seven captured, and Federals beaten in Valencia.
