A listing for E. 8S. Cummings, piano tuner at 620 Tremont Street, could not be located last night. Joseph E. Gendron of Somerville National Bank said police already asked for information from him and that the bank will review records to identify the dead New York man described as 26 to 80 years old, about six feet tall, with two missing molar teeth.

Believed Fitchburg Man Claude Trent Missing Since Nov 10

Fitchburg police wired New York authorities a detailed description of Claude Trent of Fitchburg who has been missing since November 10. The description matches that of E S Cummings of Fitchburg who died of morphine overdose in Times Square Hotel New York on Wednesday. Trent is accused of stealing about $400 from his partner Alfred Illingsworth. they co owned a private detective agency and a warrant for Trent’s arrest has been issued.
