J. J. M. Harrington former first officer of the Sagadahoc on the Kennebec line was arrested Tuesday evening as he boarded the Sagadahoc in Gardiner Maine and taken to Malden jail. Mrs. E S Hurn of Malden 26 says Harrington deceived her after promising marriage and a wedding set for Sept 15 the case was continued to Sept 1 for Harrington to present his side.

New YorkAug 29 The news that her husband Gaetano Bresci has been sentenced to life imprisonment for killing King Humbert of Italy reached Mrs Bresci in Union Hill New Jersey. The body of James E Worcester, 61, wealthy Boston merchant, was found in his No 1379 Blue Hill Avenue store by a clerk at 6:30 AM after the gas stove was left on and doors sealed. Runaway Lowell Boy Leads Police On National Chase

Joseph Carr, an 11 year old from Lowell, left home barefoot last Wednesday wearing a black and white shirt waist dark trousers and a light cap.
