Alabama Leaves Boston for Philadelphia After Trials

The United States battleship Alabama under Captain R W Sargent left her Boston anchorage at 4 15 am and passed Cape Cod at 7 10 am on her way back to the builders yard for finishing touches before commissioning. Trial board figures, including tidal corrections, will be released from Washington in coming days. Builders and many aboard Tuesday expect the Alabama to be the fastest of our battleships.
