Shooting accident claims life of Manchester loom sizer

Frederick McDougall of South Manchester died at Sacred Heart Hospital from a hunting accident on Saturday night. While hunting eagles with companions George and Joseph Gabriel on an island in the Merrimack River, George Gabriel’s gun discharged striking McDougall in the right leg. He died from blood loss. McDougall, a loom sizer at Amoskeag Mills, was 46 years old and survived by his wife and one child.
