The Neva reported being overhauled by the pirate Tallahassee 18 miles off Cape Sable on the 17th inst. After an hour's delay she bonded vessel and cargo for 17000 dollars. The Neva also rescued the crew of the North America from New London, captured and destroyed earlier, then transferred them to another vessel bound for New London Conn.
