Boston to Build Steam Line to Southern Ports
Boston awakens to steam coastal service as W. H. Lincoln & Co. launches a first class steamship line with two ships already purchased and plans for a third. A Mobile route is in preparation and the vessels promise light drafts, large cargo capacity, speed, and low insurance rates.
