Water Dangers Two Chelsea Boys Fall In Mystic River Drowned
Two Chelsea youths Willard M. Barnes Jr aged 11 and Irving W Theobald 13 fell from a raft into the Mystic River near the Naval Hospital pier and drowned before help arrived. Police Gaillac and F W Tucker retrieved the bodies about ten minutes later in fifteen feet of water fifty feet north of the pier. Barnes resided at 20 Second Street Chelsea and Theobald, a cousin from Stoneham, was visiting. Dr Wheeler failed to revive them at Barnes home.

Drowned Sons of East Concord Citizen in Merrimac River
In Concord New Hampshire on August 26 George Riley eight and Arthur Riley six sons of James Riley of East Concord were drowned while swimming with companions in the Merrimac River near East Concord iron bridge. The younger boy entered a deep hole and his brother tried to save him. both disappeared as friends could not help. Four Fellows Overboard in Harbor Near Drowning
A small sailboat capsized off Leighton's wharf around 3 30 yesterday afternoon sending four occupants into the water near the Grace Andrews.
