Right Sort of Boys Rescue Babies in Atlantic Wharf Incident
Harold Moody of Atlantic and Oscar Sutherland of Norfolk Downes rescued two children from the water after an infant carriage rolled off an Atlantic wharf. Moody, 18, just graduated from Cambridge training school, swam to save the younger child while Sutherland handled the carriage and helped save both without injury. The wharf owner was Disbree. Moody declined comment, calling it nothing, as mother and child were grateful for the unlikely heroes.
