Debate over Hazen bill and northern railroads control

A legislative examination argues against the Hazen bill to unite central New Hampshire railroads under Boston & Maine control. It contends the plan harms New Hampshire stockholders, favors Massachusetts and English creditors, and risks removing local autonomy while highlighting prior lease breaches and stock deals. The Atherton bill is urged as the superior path to unify lines and protect state interests.
