Brave Old World Recalled In Folk Verse

A nostalgic ballad recalls a brave old world with knights, milkmaids, and revelry. It paints a pastoral past where lords rule, foresters guard the greenwood, and villagers sing beneath the May-pole as trumpets sound and banners fly. Jord is named as a top rider in a field of aristocratic pageantry.
