President McKinley and Interior Secretary Hitchcock visited Plattsburg and attended church at First Presbyterian. Pastor Dr. Joseph Gamble preached from Hebrews. Vice President Hobart remained confined to his room due to heat but is resting easily. Governor Roosevelt and Mrs Roosevelt arrived by special car with the Sunday newspaper train.
