New York Aug 20 Arrangements for the reception of the American Rifle Team who arrive tomorrow on the City of Berlin are completed. A grand procession will escort the victors to Gilmore's Garden where Joseph H Choate is to speak. Vast crowds, gun salutes and banners expected. The Supreme Council of the Scottish Rite F. A. M. closed its session in Portland. Seven subordinate bodies were chartered. Gen. William Sutton of Massachusetts and George O. Tyler of Vermont were elected active members. Next session will be in New York on the third Tuesday in August 1876. The session was a working one with much important business transacted.
