A Cork hackman shoots at wife in East Cambridge

James O Neil, a 45 year old Cork hackman, traveled to the United States after his wife left him. He visited her Warren street residence, attempted to kiss their child, and then slashed his wife and mother in law with a knife. Both women were wounded, with serious injuries likely fatal. He fled to a bar and was arrested soon after. the weapon is held as evidence.

River Day Yacht Regatta Sparks Annisquam and Little River

Second annual river day along Annisquam and Little rivers featured an eight mile regatta for yachts under 28 feet.
