Loud screams for help near Brookline Avenue and the parkway drew Brookline police to the scene. A horse attached to a beach wagon bolted from the parkway, leaving a woman's hat and a man's hat on the wagon seat. A thorough search failed to locate the man and woman who had occupied the wagon.
About 2 AM a well dressed young man was arrested by Station 10 officers near the Brookline Roxbury line. A woman's watch was found in his pocket. Police suspect connections to earlier cries for help from a woman. The parkway was searched all night by Brookline and Boston officers. The man is held on suspicion and refuses to speak. Further search planned today.

He flew 133 miles from Elkhart to Toledo with one stop, in about 2 hours 56 minutes actual flying time, and reached Toledo at 4 02 pm after a five hour stop at Pettisville for fuel. He beat scheduled train times on several segments and set rapid speeds on the final leg into Toledo.
John A. Jennings an insurance broker of Trinity court and Miss Alice J. Simons of 41 Fairfield street obtained a Cambridge marriage license yesterday afternoon but found it invalid since they are not Cambridge residents.
